About the founder
Grit was founded in 2012 by Rosangela Casagrande. A serial entrepreneur who has built several successful companies in different industries, including real estate, title, technology and marketing.
Her journey with Virtual Assistants from Manila, Philippines, began during a time when one of the other businesses that she owned was at a stand still. At that time, understanding the Virtual Assistant world of possibilities, and adapting it for her business was an opportunity that transformed her life, not only from a professional standpoint but also on a personal level.
With the help of Virtual Assistants only, Rosangela was able to establish a 6.5 million-dollar company among other successful businesses while balancing her responsibilities as a mother.
Starting with a team of 5 Virtual Assistants, whom she hired and trained simultaneously, their company was awarded no. 4 in the industry in Florida, as ranked by Real Trends and The Wall Street Journal. All these while maintaining a close relationship with her daughter, as she found more time to be always present in all of her milestones.

GRIT VAs has partnered with an orphanage called “My Father’s House” located in Manila, Philippines to give real meaning to what we do. Helping the kids at My Father’s House has allowed us to use our business as a vessel for good because we believe the best way to grow is to give back.
My Father’s House is an incredible orphanage that is doing an amazing job caring for children who have been abandoned, neglected, and abused, and are waiting to be adopted. They help each child experience love, realize their life’s purpose, and equip them for integration into families and communities.
